Is Drew Brees A Leader? (2 Viewers)

Linebacker Scott Fujita likes to quote Dick Vermeil, under whom he played at Kansas City.

"They always remember what you did in November and December," Fujita said. "Now is when it gets crucial and the magnitude gets bigger and bigger."

I like that quote too. :D

One of the cooler moments in the Tampa game came in the fourth quarter when we were trying to eat up the clock.
Brees came to the line and apparently didn't like the play that was called. Typically, if he doesn't call an audible, a QB will use a time-out to talk to the coach. There were still about 15 seconds on the in-play clock and, rather than signal a time-out immediately, Brees stood there and waited until it was nearly zero before calling time-out. A small thing, but incredibly savvy, Drew.

I still wake up and pinch myself.....
We have an ALL PRO quarterback!!!! NO SHEMP!!!!!
I saw in the dictionary today as I was helping one of my 5th graders find the word lead.
Well guess who's picture Mr. Webster had put by the word leader??
Yep, there was Drew with his #9 jersey on.......
