Had a friend pose this question to me. He was thinking about this with Halloween coming. Every year, he sees some guy dressed as Santa, and wondered if it bothered anyone, or if it was just like any other costume out there in the night?

Poll forthcoming...

why would anyone be bothered by a Santa Clause costume on Halloween?

if I can understand that people "dress up" as a ghost, big foot or spongebob, then why would I not be able to understand that people can "dress up" as Santa? Everyone knows that the real Santa is too busy making toys this time of year.

The real question has to come from the other side. "Is my child old enough to understand the concept of costume?" Because if the answer is no then there would be all sorts of things they don't need to see on Halloween.

Only if it's "Sexy Santa."

Depends, are you an undressed Santa the rest of the year.

At the going pace the Christmas stuff will be coming out before Halloween stuff pretty soon anyway, so why not?
