Would our reputation be saved if they won away in Chicago?

And as basically the same question: if the Bears kill them 45-3 do we look even uglier?

Do we cheer for Seattle at this point?

This is the NFL. Fans have short term memory. The fans of other teams already forgot about last week and next year they won't even remember this game. Let it go.

We weren't gonna make it past Seattle even if we won. The Saints tried to tell the world they weren't good enough to win but nobody would listen. Just rewatch the Arizona and Cleveland games. Then rewatch the Dallas and Cincy game. Those games should have told everyone everything they needed to know about the Saints chances of repeating.

I'm pretty much bying into your argument...yes, the Saints D had some outstanding performances, but they were followed by awful games....good teams are not that inconsistent.

It's better... for our psyche only. If you're out, you're all but forgotten. No matter what happens, It isn't like any pundit will spend any airtime discussing the Saints at all. Winners get talked about and losers are forgotten. We're outta the race this year. So the real answer is, it doesn't matter what happens in Chicago today.

I personally will feel better if the Seahawks win. Does my personal feelings matter in the world of NFL? About as much as any of the fans of the rest of the teams whose season is over.

I'm like the dog in the above picture...who cares...especially when ya have something like that to look at.....:hihi:

Im NOT a bears fan so YES I hope they thump da bears in their home field. Get this, if Sea wins and GB beats Atl, not a stretch, Sea would host the NFCCG...who would have thought???

That picture is golden! :smilielol: /threadjack

I'd rather Seattle win. Last week's debacle won't look so bad. If they beat the Bears, that's even better.

Personally, I'd be ecstatic to have the Seahawks find a way to win, especially if I get the result I'm thinking I'll get tonight. They aren't going to come into the GA Dome and win. If that scenario happens, the Falcons are locks for the SB. I think we match up great against the Bears, but I'm not dumb enough to want to play them when I can get the 'hawks instead.

Doesnt really matter honestly BUT Seattle will not only win they will host the NCF Championship Game IMO they will beat Chicago with 4 Cutler INTs and Pack beat Falcons... Give it up Tony you cant win a playoff game!

Going into Chicago in January with Juluis Jones and Deshawn Wynn. Thanks Marshawn.
