This whole discussion is silly, IMHO. "Elite" is such a random, relative, arbitrary adornment found in the eye of the beholder. It's, frankly, a ridiculous contrived judgement made to make the person bestowing or denying such a title to feel powerful.
In the end, it's an opinion. Everyone has one. Flacco has one......and a ring to go with it.

He is near, if not at, the top of the second tier of QBs. I believe that it's Brady, Brees, Peyton, Rodgers, Eli, Rothlisberger. Then Flacco, Ryan, Shaub, Stafford, Rivers, Newton. JMHO.

He is a good QB, within the top 10 atleast however I beleive only 6 of the 10 are elite. Peyton, Brees, Rodgers, Brady, Eli and Roithlesberger.
