i hate the word pwned. kids who grew up in the internet era 2001- now who has messaging or who played quake made it up. want to know where pwned came from? what s right next to "O" on the keyboard. imagine some kid trying to type owned real fast. it was always misspelled. kinda like newbie became noob became nub. ever seen owned!!!!!!!11111. its because you let your hand off shirft while hitting the "1" key. now people do it it is cliche' ok thats the history lesson.

Its merely called 1337 speak, or Leet speak, leet being a shorted version of Elite. I felt the same way about too when they started using it. Now i can careless because if I cared about all the "new" stuff coming around these days I would be a old Fogie that won't let the kids play street ball. Just like the phrase "my bad."
