Drew Brees selected as Man of the Year, by Sports Illustrated, an illustrious Honor. But is it a Kiss Of Death! Can the Saints, and Brees overcome all the accolades and repeat!

I hope so, but does SI, like Madden bode ill for those honored!

Just off the top of my head, Tom Brady (2005) and Tim Duncan (2003) have had great careers and won championships even after being SI's Sportsmen of the Year. No need to worry...

SI Curse resulted in a Super Bowl victory.
Madden Curse leaves him healthy, at 8-3, in contention for home field, and one of the highest yardage totals so far.

Drew's like Chuck Norris to curses. He'll be okay.
