I've kinda' had my eye on Jalen Hurts for that position, but Stevens would cost much less. He may be there in round 6-7, or even UDFA. I don't think Hurts would appreciate the Swiss army knife role, likely wants to be a QB or nothing.

It’s more that Taysom Hill has opened the door for others with similar attributes to try other positions while still working towards being a QB.

In this case, there are similarities and reasons why it would make sense to give it a shot, especially considering it wouldn’t cost a high draft pick.

Was there in the Dome for opening game against UL and Stevens looked good both throwing and running the ball.
Looked good the next week against USM until he got hurt. He was snake bit the rest of the season.

Wouldn't mind taking a flyer on him as a 7th rounder or UDFA. What makes it interesting is that the Saints have talked to him.
