not named LSU.
LSU loses 25 seniors next year. Among them are All-Americans Glen Dorsey and Craig Stelz. If you were paying attention tonight you saw Dorsey's replacement win the Defensive MVP and Stelz's replacement all over the field like we haven't even seen from Steltz at all this year. They will also lose both CB's and replace them with inexperienced players who are more physically gifted than those who leave. LBer is a real weak spot, but the replacements are again, very physically gifted.
They lose Offensive MVP Matt Flynn who is clearly inferior to Ryan Perrilloux. They lose leading receiver Early Doucet who missed five games, but will return receivers #2-5 plus they will be adding at least one five-star recruit who is expected to contribute immediately. They will lose ROT Carnell Stewart and replace him with the most physically gifted and probably the most intelligent lineman since Ben Wilkerson in Joseph Barksdale.
LSU opens the season next year with North Texas, Troy and a patsy to be determined later before opening up in the SEC at Auburn. That's three games for the LBers abd CB's to get the kinks worked out before facing they're first real test.
Don't count on gaining any ground.
