Why is this signing being so weird?

I think it’s a couple reasons:

1. Cook wants to do this his way. You saw him send a classy goodbye to Raiders fans yesterday.

2. The Saints are probably also still working on structure for some of these moves like him and Meredith. Maybe leaving open a little space for Quinn or Ansah? Maybe leaving some open for MT extension?

I wouldn’t sweat it. It’ll be announced soon.

But wasn’t it announced that the deal was agreed upon, but wouldn’t be announced til Monday.

So all of you people are fretting, waiting for this terrible signing for no reason, except perhaps the fact that it isn’t worth it and better if it didnt

Do you even football? You can't possibly look at his body of work, our depth chart at TE and say he wouldn't immediately help our offense. He would be the best TE we've had since Graham.
