NFL officials are taught not to blow the whistle on a questionable fumble/incompletion. Yet somehow, after Goff has the ball knocked out of his hand, and Cam has already run the ball back to the 30 yard line, an official starts blowing his whistle!

That is a travesty of officiating. No official is that poor that he blows his whistle several seconds after a defensive player has picked up a dislodged ball and is headed for the end zone. I call shenanigans!

There needs to be an official investigation into the officials who made the no-call at the end of the NFCCG last year and the official who inexplicably blew his whistle today. It is too much of a coincidence that the Saints are the victims of 2 of the most egregiously bad calls in NFL history in back-to-back games against the Rams. These officials should be suspended until an official investigation by an impartial entity has been completed.

If the NFL fails to look into this matter, Saints fans should band together to have a private investigator look into these officials' bank accounts and possible affiliations with gamblers and other parties who would want these games' outcomes slanted toward the Rams.

So now those refs AND these different refs are conspiring together for some reason to poop on the saints? Grow up, it’s a hard job. You would t do as good as any of these refs. It was a bad call. Move on

I said it during the off season. The nfl has it out for us. Will be every game this year.

The blown whistle today was not merely a "bad call." How many times have fans heard that the officials' mandate for such a play is NOT to blow the whistle and let it finish. How does an NFL official blow his whistle well after the sack-fumble if he really thought it was an incomplete pass?!

Maybe it's an "understanding" that the Rams need to win to attract fans to their new stadium, but something smells very fishy here.

They have a bad habit of calling a lot of bad, terrible calls on us going back to last year's NFCCG and even last week vs. Houston on MNF. Your apologies for their incompetence by saying it's human imperfection is bullshirt and shouldn't be rewarded. Incompetence, stupid, or poorly officiated calls from officiating crews seemed to have a funny trend of following us.
