I’m very glad this is so. He was a great corner, and we definitely felt when he went down due to injuries. The team spent years trying to replace him.

Actually I need to redo my all underrated Saints list.....Greer should be #1....he only played 4 seasons for us but man, he was a huge difference maker.....when he faded our D took a nosedive.....

Was just about to post about that. I remember a couple threads made by Bills fans telling us what a great signing he was and the Bills screwed up by letting him walk.

I was at the game where he fuber'ed his knee - it was heartbreaking. If that hadn't happened, he had another 2-3 years minimum at the same level. Turns out, the four years he did have here were some of the best stats the Saints defense ever saw at the position. An amazing player, and even better human being.

People talk about Saints players underrated by Saints fans, Greer has to be in the top 3. Dude quietly was one of the best CBs in the league while in New Orleans yet got 1% of the recognition that the current crop of Saints CBs have from Saints fans.
