Fair enough, my original point stands, I PERSONALLY don't think it's that big of an issue that he's getting a try out. The reactions have mostly been so negative because he was never good lol.

If this were Terrell Owens or Randy Moss getting a tryout no one would bat an eye, not players or media.

Because Tebow wasn't good in his NFL tenure people are offended.

It is what it is... I Try to explain positions but very rarely do I have a personal opinion on things as personal opininos are usually accompanied by an emotional attachment to that opion.

Emotional attachments to opinions usually obscures you from seeing other peoples viewpoint and that's an abortion of learning.
 
I love Timmy Tebow. He’s already the most believed Jaguars player ever. I’m sure he’ll not be a big contributor if he even makes the team, but Jags fans are excited about this offseason for the first time in a long time. Tebow isn’t the biggest reason for it...but he at least plays a role. My wife has already ordered her Tebow jersey to wear to games.

Lol if it was only that simple. It’s not. Lots of people hate Tebow because of his religious views, others hate him because they hate the people that like Tebow. If this was a matter of just about any other player in the universe people wouldn’t care. People only care because Tim Tebow is a frocking superstar. He’s a guy that transcends the game. If Taysom Hill retires today and comes back five years as a try out of the Saints...not a soul would care.

Even weirder....I'd completely forgotten about his religious views etc until you mentioned it. That's not how I remember him...just as a QB who wasn't very good.
