Ja'Marr Chase has posted the best start for a rookie receiver in the history of the National Football League. How is he doing it?

Enjoy!!!

Need somebody to chime in... Chase mentioned something interesting about his struggle catching the ball. Is nfl ball bigger than college balls? And does those white strip makes a difference?

I think Chase was messing with folks. Media took it the wrong way.

I think there are some truth to that. I always notice how a college quarterback seems to throw a foot ball with ease. But when they enter the nfl and throwing a nfl balls, the ball seems a little bigger.

There’s a slight difference between the NCAA and NFL but it’s about a quarter of an inch

And some thought Smith should be taken over him in the draft. Chase has the prototypical build to be a dominant WR & football speed.

I’m team chase all day, but Smith doesn’t have a real QB throwing him the ball. He would be better off with Minshew slinging the rock

Don't disagree on the QB situation in Philadelphia but long term Chase will have a much better career.

On pace to be only the 5th receiver to ever eclipse the 1,800 yard mark.

Hard to think he could outdo the magical season by Jefferson, but here we are.

I knew he’d be special. Playing with the equally special Joe Burrow is just unfair for the league.

I’ll admit it. I’m a bit jealous of Cincinnati. Words never spoken in the history of reality.

I see. Might be a slight difference but big difference for rookies skill players.

I had him as the best WR and player in the draft. Using that WR attribute spreadsheet that I created for the 2020 draft and Chase's ability the position, there wasn't a doubt.

I traded for him or the ability to draft him in 3 different fantasy leagues.

League 1:
18 team dynasty/50-man rosters/5-man rookie squad
Traded: DeAndre Hopkins/Jared Cook for Ja'Marr Chase/2021 2.4/2021 4.4

League 2:
32 team contract dynasty/53-man rosters/16-player practice squad
Traded: Alvin Kamara/Will Dissly for Ja'Marr Chase/2022 2nd/2022 4th

League 3:
$50 Yearly/Money League (Leagues 3rd year, my first) 16 teams The team had no QB (Drew Lock), but had the 1st overall pick. I wanted to draft Chase and also acquire Burrow. I'm not a fan of Lawrence so I didn't want to take him overall, but didn't want to take Chase without a QB. The guy with Burrow agreed he would trade Burrow for Lawrence straight up. The guy with pick 2 wanted Jonathan Taylor. I traded Taylor for pick 2 and I also picked up pick 15 with a different trade. I drafted Chase at 1.1 and Lawrence at 1.2 then immediately traded Lawrence for Burrow. Currently tied for 2nd at 5-2.
