Yep. Hopefully it's just extreme caution. If I was a coach in these days, I would keep my QB out for practice with a broken fingernail.

People hurt their feet every day without playing a down of football. It's really not that mysterious.

I suppose. But foot injury concerns me way more than ankle. A foot sprain is a beast to heal and then there’s the dreaded lisfranc injury.

Opposite. A non-contact foot injury is way more worrisome than a non-contact ankle injury.
