Jamie Martin is awful we need a real back up next year, Let us pray nothing happens to Brees

Go Saints

Regardless of who the backup is we are pretty screwed if Brees goes down, I would rather put the resources to bringing in better starters at other positions.

We need to draft a "Tony Romo" type quarterback in the mid to late rounds next year so Payton can develop them into a reputable back up. I don't think Martin is back next year even if he played good today. He is 36 and more importantly, he has serious family medical problems. No matter what, you have to feel for that guy.

Man Man it hurts to watch this kind of Quarter Back play After watching the MVP.

As long as Martin is not starting an Jan 13/14, we will be okay.

I think we should allow Martin some time to shake the rust off. He has not thrown a game pass since preseason.

Didn't help that he had the wholesale O-line substitution. He's definitely slow and weak armed, but I don't think it is as bad with some first string playmakers.

I know that he hasn't, but you can tell that he floats his passes and holds on to the ball too long.

I think it's really hard to evaluate Martin's performance given the 2nd string O-line and receivers. Looks like the Kitties have continued to play most of their starters.

>>Jamie Martin is awful...

Jamie Martin played behind (mostly) a #2 Oline against a good defense and got hit 18 times. Maybe on 2 of them, he held the ball too long.

Call Col. Mustard.
