Nobody is saying Cook is Graham. I said the comparison is not silly. There are reasons to believe Cook can provide the same type of weapon.

To your point:

-Carr threw the ball 553 times in 2018
-Brees threw it 657 times in Graham’s best season (650 times in his second best season)

Again, no one is expecting him to put up 1,200 yards. But I think he’ll be closer to Graham in our O than Watson.

Saints don't need Cook to perform like prime Graham, they just need him to be atleast 90% of what he played for the Raiders last season.. just enough of a middle seam threat for Defenses to ease up on Doubling Mike Thomas, and Kamara every play.

Gotta be a bidding war where the raiders probably got back in the negotiations, if it's still not a done deal....the age and number of contract years might be the problem.
