Anyone know more about him? The Lions are trying to trade him.

First rounder from the 2017 Draft, went 21st Overall. Very similar as a prospect to Kenneth Murray coming out, praised for his High character, and on-field leadership, came as a True Freshman starter and started 3 seasons. Had all the athletic tools, and explosiveness chasing down ball carriers but identifying keys formationally and mental processing were his concerns as a prospect coming out.

So far through 3 seasons he has largely been underwhelming, never could develop into a consistent play diagnoser, and struggles to get off blocks despite the athletic traits, and being a hard worker. Shows flashes every now and then, but ultimately is on the trading block now as they hope to get some return on him.. also struggled with injuries this past season.

Wrong system maybe? The guy has all the physical tools and looked like he would at least be able to play in the NFL

I really liked Jarrad Davis coming into the NFL. The talent and ability are there... and his play in the SEC was really elite. He’s not Stephone Anthony... Anthony never really stood out in college games to me. He was a workout warrior, and his measurables vaulted him up draft boards.

I believe a change of scenery could be just what Davis needs to realize his true potential at the NFL level. If the Saints could get Jarrad Davis for a 4th round pick or later, I’d be 100% on board.

Ewww.... Ogletree is horrible

I'm not saying Davis is a huge upgrade compared to Alec, but he def is an upgrade

And I dont want to hear "Well look at his (Ogletree) stats last year"

Go watch his tape!

You will see
not saying ogletreeis some stud but he has produced at a high level before and is much better than Davis in coverage and will fit this team better.
