Jason Garrett has been fired as Cowboys HC (1 Viewer)

SP isn’t leaving the Saints. He loves NO. SP will transition to the FO and maybe even into ownership with Loomis and Drew. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if this hasn’t already been discussed with Gayle.

Cowboys we never get a proven head coach until jerry steps down as GM. No decent head coach wants to give that much power to owner.
Most likely a College coach or a assistant looking to step up.

just to remind everyone... the Cowboys were undefeated world beaters and Super Bowl favorites before they came to the Superdome

and then Teddy, Lutz, and the D did the job
...and the refs stayed out of it!

The only way SP ever "goes to Dallas" is if Jerrah passes away and wills the team to him lock, stock, and barrel. Based on that, Coach is going to be in NO until the 12th of Never, and that's a long, long time. ?

...but I'm here to tell ya......there's something else...... THE SUPER BOWL! (cue organs) ;)

1 Solid Hour of Cowboys, Jason Garrett, Jerry Jones soap opera :cussing:

1 Solid hour of Brady retirement rumors :banghead:

ESPN: "It's Wild Card weekend! We're going to cover all the games, all the angles! Looking back . . .

1/2 hour of Saints playoff misfortunes from 2011 - 2018 :covri:
1/2 hour of What is Who Dat, featuring Drew Brees, Alvin Kamara and Roman Harper? :9:

I took a day off for this? Well, at least they finally got around to SOMETHING that mattered to me.

Regardless of your opinion of Jones the Cowboys HC position should be the most desirable of the open positions. They are a playoff team filled with talent. If they can find a competitive and competent HC they should be better.

Apparently you haven't been paying attention to the Cowboys for the last couple of decades!

What is it that makes you think the Cowboys job is or should be the most desirable coaching position out there knowing that Jerry Jones is the most micro managing, meddlesome, and interfering owner in ALL of professional sports?

It doesn't matter how talented they are or who is brought in.....................he will always be in the middle of everything and no decision is made without his stamp on it.

Do you remember the 2014 draft when they (Steven Jones included) had to literally tackle Jerry in their draft room cause he was running to turn in the card to draft Johnny Manziel? Can you imagine what kind of circus that would have turned into had Jones succeeded in drafting that clown?

The only way the Cowboys will ever be relevant is when Jerry Jones is out of the equation totally.

Garret will ho to the giants and then the giants will be better than the cowboys

Where is the proof that Dallas is so talented? Are they any more talented than Tennessee or Atlanta or Cleveland or any other random team? Like, who makes these determinations? What players make them so talented? What skill sets do they possess that other less talented teams don't? Are folks confusing being popular with being talented?

Dallas sells that same narrative to the league in odd numbered years and people eat it up. They are average to below average depending on their opponent.

They have a good when he wants to be RB, average but thinks he is great QB, used to be very good but not now getting older receiver, an above average offensive line, and an above average but aging defense.

So I don’t know

Exactly this!!

They make moves and overpay players and that automatically makes them the most talented team in the league to the fish that drink the Cowboy Kool Aid.

The Cowboys and the media push this narrative every year and every year there is a boatload of excuses as to why the Cowboys underachieved yet AGAIN while ignoring the elephant in the room that is Jerry Jones!!
