I haven't been watching games much this season. I was wondering how Jaxson Hayes has been looking? Does he have the potential to blow up into a superstar?

He has a ton of potential. He has played the most minutes out of any player in a year that he very well should've spent in the G League, which means there is a lot of good and bad on display.
He is super efficient in getting to the rim and finishing, and averages about .75 highlight plays above the rim per game.
He's making 63% of his free throws which seems low to me because I feel like looks very comfortable at the line and makes his free throws when I'm watching.
Still needs to add bulk/muscle and gets lost and/or shoved around on defense right now, but, I am very high on him for the long term.
I would say his NBA comp is Tyson Chandler with better offense but lesser defense.
I would add, kid has to develop some type of shot and post moves as well but that will come. He looks good. So does NAW. They’re just raw but I love their energy and effort. AMAZING.
He should have been guarding Lemarcus Aldridge all night. Aldridge did most of his damage against Favors . Hayes length and jumping
ability forced Aldridge to alter several short jump shots he was easily making against Favors. Hayes even blocked an attempted slam.
My main take from last nights game- We saw why Greg Popovich is a HOF coach, and Gentry isn't. Popovich has spacing down to
a science. They contest every shot on defense, and get an open look on offense nearly every possession.

I stood up from the couch and started cheering when I saw Jackson trailing on this play...
I sure hope so. I know NAW has not looked good at all since preseason, but at this point, there is no reason not to play him over Etwuan Moore, who has been horrible lately. Same for Frank Jackson until last night. My Jaxson Hayes watch continues. He played 4 minutes last night. Didn't even have time to break a sweat, but at least he was able to get off the bench. With playoff hopes quickly going down in flames, I sure would like to see more of him going forward. Get all the young guys working together.
