Jazz Fest 2019 (50th Anniversary)(Update: Rolling Stones 10/13/21) (1 Viewer)

Fest just got too expensive and too crowded... Sucks as well, I really enjoyed it...

Elsinore is the name of the brewery in Strange Brew. Per wikipedia (which I checked to confirm my memory on this), Strange Brew is loosely based on Shakespeare's Hamlet, which of course takes place in Denmark.

Mind. Blown.

and now im singing "Strrrrrrrrrrraaaaannnge breeewww".

Mind. Corrupted.

Rolling Stones are confirmed. Expecting a sell out that day.

Thursday , 9am at Superdome is a locals Rolling Stones day. Basically need an LA license, and limit of 2 per person. Open to general public Friday.

From Gambit.

"The Rolling Stones are headed to New Orleans for the 50th New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

Also headlining the 2019 festival are Katy Perry, Dave Matthews, Santana, Al Green, Bob Seger, Jimmy Buffett and others."

Pretty good lineup, deep. Very heavy on the classic rock and R&B. Light on the emerging and Indy stuff, but I like it.

Notice a few hidden in there: Little Feat, Steve Earle, Fogerty, Chaka Kahn, the Doobies.
