man, is this guy a Godsend or what? Injury-prone? Seems fine to me. Much, much better center then Bentley (who would be a much better guard). Thank you Cleveland.

The block on the Karney TD-run was just outstanding. That was a REALLY good play in general, and Faine keyed it.

I saw Faine quite a few times making very good blocks. He has come in and made a huge impact. The dropoff if you want to call it that from Bentley has gone unseen in my eyes. Maybe even an upgrade at the center position.

No maybe about it. Faine has been a much better center than Bentley ever was. LeCharles was a Pro-Bowl caliber guard, but his play at center was highly overrated. He wasn't even as good as Fontenot.

I said it last year...Bentley was a great guard and a very average center. Faine is actually an upgrade. He's been great.

Exactly. I've said it forever, even when he was here. Bentley was a Pro Bowl Guard but a very average/below Center. Bentley made his reputation at Guard and somehow the national sportsmedia got the idea he was just as good at Center. Nope, he was perhaps the most over rated OL to ever play for the Saints. It was brillant move by Loomis to let Bentley walk then "steal" Faine from the team that signed him. Faine is solid, consistent, an underrated.......

Faine biggest + is his 'smarts' and pre-snap reads.

Honestly, a huge upgrade over Bentley in the center position.

ya I noticed quite a few key blocks by faine in the game.. which amazes me its not often I actually notice when the o-line blocks good, unless I rewatch the game and concentrate on it.

Plus, Brees always jumps in his arms after a TD, seems they are very close.

All props to Jeff last night...he did and has done an excellent job all season.

It's amazing how all these supposedly average players are working out for us this season. Great moves or a product of great coaching?
