I love it when players come home to retire. You know they love it here compared to some of the places they end up playing after leaving the Saints.

I remember a lot of people being worried when Jammal Brown went down for the season early in 09 (the one season ending injury we had to a projected starter that year). But Bushrod made it seem unnoticeable once the season began. Best of luck to him in whatever he does.

People were even still worried about it when we got rid of Brown in favor of Bushrod, who'd just handled himself like a pro's pro on a title run. I never understood it.
