if he is available do we try and get him even it is for depth? I think anything can be better than simoneau or the shanle.

he is a DE. I wouldnt mind picking him up for passing downs though.

First, as a DE, he would not replace either Shanle or Simoneau. That said, I wouldn't mind if he was signed to a backup's salary, since that is what he would be here.

Only on a one-year deal... at a lower $ figure... as a pass-rushing specialist only. He gets hurt too much... so if he could come off the bench that would be good for him.

he will be an expensive backup and he can never stay healthy.... in fact he is part of a very weak passrush in philadelphia ... just ask some eagles fans.

yeah i would only do it as a short term cheap deal...CHEAP being the key word...he will be expensive because of his name

no.....no.....no.....Kearse is an injury waiting to happen. I work in Philly and they all make fun of him for being made out of glass, etc.....

Philly had really bad luck with signing free agent DE's (Kearse and Howard). Luckily they managed to get a couple diamonds in the ruff with Trent Cole and Juqua Thomas.

IMO, they were signed because they had the potential to be great DEs, and Philly probably thought that putting them on a squad that was better than the Titans and Saints, would make their injuries disappear. Nope.

let me say this i loved him when he was with the Titan and he did a great job there no doubt however he has not been the same since his foot injuy ( I Kearse errr Curse those chunky soup commericals for the injury stupid jinx) and when he left and went to filthadelphia he seemed to play even worse. I would have to pass
