Jim Haslett (1 Viewer)

Honestly I fault Brooks less than I do Haslett overall. Brooks was a good street ball QB. He could run around, find the open guy, and throw it to them when they got open. Which was s good thing because no WR could run a decent route, and I’m not sure there was much of a game plan anyway. It wasn’t a Payton sort of offense where everyone was disciplined and the offense ran like clockwork. I always felt Haslett was not like ok send in 3 WRs to go run around for a while, Brooks will run around until someone is standing wide open then throw to them. That’s why I have a hard time faulting Brooks. He did what was asked, he was just being asked to do a style of football which was abysmal.
Those teams were an undisciplined mess from top to bottom. No player got better when he was head coach.

Will always have a place in my heart. That first playoff win baby... God what a day...
