Jim Henderson Call Yesterday "HE GONE... HE GONE... HE GONE" (1 Viewer)

I will agree that the call on the Darren Sharper INT was not one of Jim's best, I am sure alot of yall are asking yourself. "how could he do that" river city relay when John Carney missed the extra point. But everything will be fine with Jim saints fans because "there is a god after all" saints playoff game against the rams.

reminds me of the room 401 prank, the dissappearing cabbie.
(probably where he got it)

I thought it was great. I wish I could listen to that instead of the horrible Fox announcers.

Yea, I like Jim H a lot & this sounds stupid when he says it, he's been saying this sense the preseason, I wise he would stop........ I really don't get it, what is he trying to say or do?????

The Chicago White sox announcers say that after a strike out. Not sure if that's where it comes from but sounded exactly like those guys.

Yeah that's exactly where Jim Henderson got it from. I love Jim Henderson and think he's a local legend. Because of this I think the stealing of another announcer's catch-phrase is beneath him and is very surprising to me.

In 20 or so years of listening to Henderson, I've never had a gripe or anything the slightest bit negative to say about any aspect of his performance. I'll give him a pass on this new development :9:

above is a White Sox commercial where you can hear Ken Harrelson saying "HE GONE!" at the end.

Jim is just working on his "catch" phrase so that he could trademark it... you know... like "shake and bake"... :hihi:

Everybody in New Orleans is gonna be saying that by week 6... just wait and see.

Interesting...I kinda like it more if he's doing it as a nod to another announcer in a different sport. Kinda like a musician smapling from another. As long as he gives credit there I think it's kinda cool. Maybe they know each other? (Jim and the Chisox announcer)

Now I really want him to say "That. Just. Happened."

Nice.
