The best part is the last where you hear a reporter go "OK..." In Mora's defense, I felt the exact same way - he just knew he didn't have to BS anyone about it anymore because he was done. Hopefully Payton won't let winning get to his head as bad as Mora, but I can almost see Payton giving that exact same press conference given similar circumstances.

Jim Mora's Son is about to walk in his fathers footsteps if ATL perform anywhere near as bad as the last 2 games against probably the 2 worst teams in the league, Now they play a real deal team "RAVENS" i really hope Ravens don't abuse vick too much, we need to play him at full health in a couple of weeks, i don't want any excuses, And i Definately don't want our team playing Matt Schaub, I think he's the real Deal QB, Hopefully by the time we play against him he'll be long gone on another team in the AFC.

Mora was the head coach of an NFL team. I'll always hate him for quitting on us mid-season. I hated that he got props for coaching a successful Colts team, when it doesn't take an offensive genious to be successful with Peyton at the helm.

I remember this I lmao then like I lmao now. I don't remeber who that was against but it was definitly a down year.

My sediments exactly!!!! I really liked Jim "the quitter" Mora, Sr. up until the day he quit. I thought he was a good coach, but, when he just up and quit, I lost all respect for him and have changed the channel when they would show him on tv. It's one thing to just 'play out' the season and then leave, but, to just quit ain't right.

And you are so right about coaching the dolts. I'm wondering what kind of HC Peyton is going to be. The guy is a monster at absorbing all the points of the game.

I remember this happening, but I was younger and didn't pay too much attention to it. How far along in the season was it? And did he really just QUIT on the team during the interview, and pack his bags? Thats the season Venturi too over right? What year, and what QB was at the helm, Everett?
