Williams and W. Esplanade...it would have been 92-93
#93 was the store #, not the date line. Guess you're safe, as I was at the Canal Villere on Vets near Green Acres (1985-1987), which eventually became a Rouses which apparently got sold off to some other entity.

do what now?

The club had a small bookstore/lingerie/toy shop attached with a few video booths. I did the stocking, cashiering, etc. I also had to periodically have a remote 'looksee' to make sure the guys in the booths still had vids playing and weren't just taking up space.
Humans are some perverted monkeys, yo.

Agreed.. and also, I’m gonna wager that you and i are the only two posters on this site who have the prestigious position of Mall Easter Bunny on our resumes.

Wait, i see that you’re in Baton Rouge.. your Bunny stint didnt happen to be at the old Cortana Mall in the early 90s, was it? If so, we may have worn the same stinky, sweaty costume!

I forgot.. I was a substitute teacher for a day (between college and my first real job).

I did fine, just the school year had just started, teachers usually aren't sick yet, and then I got the job offer in NOLA.

I will say, Kindergarten is scary. 6th grade and middle school was so much easier in comparison. All band/music classes.

In no particular order, I am probably forgetting some things and some of these were very short-lived but generated a paycheck (or cash):

Whoa, I thought this list was going to be a lot shorter. When my "plan A" fell apart in my 20's - something I was somewhat laser-focused on - I didn't really have a "plan B". Truth be told, "plan A" wasn't really my "plan A" but the "plan A" of others who expected something different from me than I really wanted to do. I should really write a book.

EDIT: I have added a couple more and now fear that "chemo-brain" is still affecting me to a degree as one of the jobs added was a fairly major piece of my life for a couple of years. I really should write a book.

Nah. Mall of LA 2002. Best part about that job was being there late when no one was in line and sneaking around the mall and stalking shoppers.
