I'll just copy what I said in August, with some commentary

Summer daycare helper
Video store clerk
Band student director (paying gig)
Summer camp counselor
Engineering intern - Major automotive supplier
Materials Engineer I, II, and III - Aerospace - Government contractor / commercial airlines parts. I've been inside things that went into space.
Trombonist (just a few gigs). - two coolest were 1. at a burger bar upstairs where they hired really hot gogo dancers. 2. a charity event in Miami where Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton) showed up. Basically free drinks (after the show), lots of money, lots of attractive women.

When I was in school I had a lot of odd jobs....
Shrimp Boat (not Captain, more like Lt Dan)
Roofer (2 summers)
Manual labor working for a mail order company (1 summer)
Janitor cleaning the elementary school
Grocery store stocker
Cabinet maker on assembly line (before I joined the Army)
U.S. Army (7 years)
Air National Guard (23)
Alarm sales, Financial Planner Guard Bum (about 3 months)
Fiber optics install, test and turn-up for a phone company
Government employee (20 years)
Satellite Communications / electronics mechanic, Operations, Logistics DO, Functional Area manager, XO
Retiring in 2 years (31 Dec 22)
Now, I have to figure out what I am going to do when I grow up.

Focus on the avoiding senility - he’s got the growing old thing on lock
Senility and you, a 10 part seminar that we will repeat at least 3 times.

Part 1 - Where are your glasses? Check on your head, and other strategies.

Part 2 - Telling Stories. If people are smiling politely while you're telling your story, you probably already told them this story. Maybe even just a half hour ago.

Part 3 - Yelling Across the House. Neither of you can hear, so stop doing it.

Part 4 - Speaking of which, have you had your hearing checked?

this is a big one for me - always hated it when my dad would tell the same story over and over
when i was in the dating life i would often have this moment of pause and do a quick "wait have i told this one this story yet?"
i REALLY don't want to do this
nor do i want to be someone who repeats a story

Some stories I don't mind hearing or telling more than once. But the bigger issue for me is have I told a specific story to a specific person. I got 4 kids and have to try to remember who I told what. It's a convoluted mess sometimes. :hihi:
