I think we need to do what ever it takes to get Burrow. I don’t think it would take a Ditka type trade but we need him.

He checks off every box you could ask a QB to have. He doesn’t get rattled or make bad throws. He knows part of our offense already and executed it to perfection. He broke the record for highest completion percentage in NCAA.

And what ever test they were talking about where they tested the team for reactionary skills and other things he scored in the 90th percentile. He’s is the second coming of Drew and can keep this offense flowing when Drew retires.

Straight up, why do yall think Burrow will be so good? He has had one decent year.
He's Pro ready, more so than any QB in years, if ever. He's already doing things it takes 5 years for some pros to learn, and some things they will never learn.

Study his film, you can't miss it.
He’s 5th year senior with 400 fewer passing yards than Gardner Minshew had last year. He might turn out to be great in the NFL, but guys like Brees and Manning had 1000 more pass attempts in college because they were phonomenal from the get-go, right out of high school.

Teddy is better than Burrow and is a proven winner at the NFL level. Burrow is a good college QB who could be a good NFL QB. I'd rather go with the guy who has earned his stripes.
Great points and also lets be honest here Burrow is 22 years old. He should be awesome given all of the time he's been around the college game.

What makes Burrow the prospect he’s become are things none of the QB’s you listed comparable like his pocket awareness and leadership.....combine that with the most accurate passing % in the history of NCAA Football and I think he has a good case for a top pick.

But you made some people chuckle so there’s always that.
Top pick...fine. Trading a whole draft??? Craziness.....He looks like a great prospect, but ultimately we have no idea how good he's gonna be in the NFL. Andrew Luck was as close to can't miss at the QB position that we've seen in a long time....and he wasn't worth a whole draft

Every pick is a gamble, I give you that. But when you talk value.....

I would 100% give up an entire draft for a top 10 QB for 15 years....especially with the age of our team being so young. Without a great QB this league is too hard.

Now I know theres no guarantee, so my argument is purely hypothetical.

If I had a crystal ball and knew he was gonna be Drew Brees, sure. But there is absolutely no way to know that. I'm not sure how Joe ranks as a QB prospect against other prospects, but the one that comes to mind first for me is Andrew Luck people thought was can't miss. I don't think the Colts or anybody else would have traded and entire draft for Andrew Luck. I DO NOT think Burrow is as good a prospect as Luck. Luck is physically better in every area and had equal smarts and toughness. Burrow only did it for one year.

Burrow may be the best prospect since Luck. I don't know that. I do know that lots of great prospects do not become Drew Brees. In fact, 99.999% of them don't......including Andrew Luck
