Horn looked good with Brooks because they both played street ball and neither knew what a route tree was.

MT on better pace than anyone else, but needs to maintain.

C'mon...Horn was getting started with Jeff Blake.
If I recall correctly they were both signed the same weekend. Talk about to underrated signings. Who knows what might have been had Blake been able to keep his job.

I will disagree with you there about Blake vs. Brooks. I would've gone with Brooks.

i don’t think saying “who knows what would have happened” is the same as saying Blake was the better choice. But I really liked Jeff Blake and find myself wondering often. He didn’t lose the job for playing bad after all. He was actually playing very well.

Horn is a great example that Mueller and crew knew what they were doing at least some of the time. He was mostly riding the pine and I think had caught like 30 something. But they saw him as a starter, paid him starter money and he earned it.

Blake was fine....but Brooks had a tougher schedule.
