The Jets were in the playoffs two years ago and Abraham was questionable to play the week leading up to the game. When asked if Abraham would play by a reporter he answered that he could go but since the following year was a contract year he did not want to risk getting injured. He has a ton of talent but the question is will he even show up or what Brown push him around all day?

I would run right at him. He is horrible against the run and only good in obvious passing downs. He probably won't even be a problem on passing downs either the way our o-line has been protecting Brees.

Abraham is a difference maker. He could turn a game around if he is on his game.

So can Rice and Peppers, and you see how that worked out. A DE is the least of my worries this weekend. We've contained DE's all year long and protected Brees. Abraham being back doesn't bother me at all.

Abraham is a good player, but like Bonchie said...we've pretty much handled DE's all year long. I think the key is for us to handle Dunn and Crumpler

Not true..when healthy, he can be a top tier defensive player. Fact is he's a *kitty*. Someone alluded to what he said about a contract year, and they are dead on. From that point on, Jet fans turned on him. He's a terrific talent..that's wasted due to softness/injury.

I have to agree about Abraham. He is also not 100%(Groin). I would think Ed Hartwell would be more of a factor. They have banged up corners on the right side that we may be able to exploit( Starter Jason Webster is out & Jimmy Williams has a bad ankle) On the D line DT Babineaux (foot) NT Grady Jackson (knee) are hurting also.

The best D-line in the world will have minimal effect on our current offense. We have too many good recievers, too many running backs that can catch out of the backfield, a quick-thinking quarterback, and good offensive playcalling. Not saying we don't have our share of problems, but this much is true.

his groin is not 100 percent yet. he won't be as great as he could be and he will probably be used sparingly.

If Zach Streif can handle Rice, then I have no doubts that Brown will handle Abraham...
