Wasn’t Chloe Grace-Moretz sort of the odd’s-on favorite to play “The Ballerina” or that the producers wanted to choose her? Ballerina, is essentially a younger, more immature, kind of emotionally-frayed ballerina dancer-turned assassin who sort of views Wick as an older, more experienced mentor who went through many of the same sheet she did, growing up.

A younger, deadlier, emotionally immature female version of John Wick. Didn’t they sort of hint, “introduce” her in a brief scene in Parabellum where Wick gets the attention of the theater director and former trainer?

When we had a performance in Mexico, they threw a small party at the embassy- I had the notion them that having an assassin that was part of a traveling dance company would have been a great cover
I even pictured an opening scene where the small hot girl was ballroom dancing with some ambassador at a major fete- dance finishes, she walks away and you can see her ‘date’ staring after here then starting to cough
She exits the building as the paramedics rush in
Next scene is her in the studio working on a new (weird) dance of a new (weird) choreographer
We don’t figure she’s the assassin until way later in the movie
