Not really. A bench warrant would actually explain a lot. It’s not really a big deal though. Stuff happens.

that is not fact. It is usually up to the officers discretion., which usually means the reason it is suspended. if someones license is suspeded for something like a 5 day insurance cancellation 3 years ago or not paying your state taxes, or many other things like that, you probably won't get arrested. if its for missing a court date due to not paying a ticket, then probably yes. But if you are pulled over and arrested, its because you license is suspeded for something big, but then they usually arrest you for that and include the suspended license as an add on... So if he had an arrest warrant for not attending a court date, then that makes sense....

The police make themselves so easy to blame. It's hilarious how now that there's a camera on every street corner, body cam, and cell phones how much we realize that cops used to get away with.

What do you want people to say, he had warrants that filled in the missing piece of the puzzle, most posters were in this thread seem to generally be asking to gain knowledge not to bash. Plus I dont understand the all or nothing bait argument. Just like any occupation their cops who are amazing and trying to make world a better place just like Doctors, Lawyers, CEO's etc. and then there are those who try to take advantage for personal gain just like some Doctors, Lawyers, CEO's etc. Occupation dont make a bad person a good person its just a wolf in sheep clothing.

Do these cop cars have license plate readers? I think the system works where the plate is read and the numbers get run through the police system. If there's an open issue or warrant, the the stop is justified.
