It may take a bit longer than I thought for Evans to get in. I checked the HOF web site and only 15 Guards are in the HOF at this time.

Seems like there’s some names missing off that list. Larry Allen (he might be listed as a tackle, but all his All-Pros and Pro Bowls were @ guard I think), Will Shields, Steve Hutchinson. Maybe some others, I dunno.
Alan Faneca will be the next one in at some point, which will leave Jahri Evans as pretty much the most decorated guard left.
Anyway, making an All Decade team makes you as close to a lock as you can get, judging from history.
