Just saw this. Earlier in the week, he was expected to be full today.

Cool. That's what I'd heard as well. He was supposed to be a go today, guaranteeing that he'd be a 100% healthy Jones come Monday. I suppose they're having a full practice tomorrow too since the game is Monday, so if he's OUT again tomorrow, we'll really have a better idea as to how banged up he really is.

Thanks for posting.

He would suit up against the Saints even if he had to limp out there. Pretty much always hurt anyway :hihi:

He will play Sunday, I guarantee it.

Oh, no doubt. This is the same as us having Armstead listed as questionable when everyone and their grandmother knows he's playing. But if he misses today AND tomorrow, we'll know that he's not close to 100% and that's something we could sorely use considering the health of our secondary.

I caught a bit of the Raiders-Falcons game, and he was getting up really, really slow.

Yep, when I tuned in the Falcons were on a crucial drive to milk the clock and Julio was watching from the sideline. He is definitely not healthy. Long season so it's quite possible he sits out this one.

Good.

just veteran rest i presume

He has a calf injury. He was clearly gimpy after a play against the Raiders and I'm not sure if he played after that. This isn't just ambiguous veteran rest.

I also suspect he'll play. The better question is whether the injury is enough to limit his effectiveness.

Sports radio in Atlanta says he was dinged up in raiders game, but should be ready for Monday.
