Apparently Louisiana is a "turn signal optional" state. I'd put the percentage at 33% no signal turns on most days, 50% on the bad ones. I'm talking highways here mind you. I guess I've just learned that if someone going 40+ MPH starts slowing down suddenly I need to keep back because they're probably turning soon.

I think it’s 100ft in Louisiana. I try to turn them on once I’m past the last turn before mine.
