Exactly what this team needed on so many levels:

1. Protected the Dome

2. Won convincingly against an inferior opponent with three of our best playmakers on the
bench.

3. Reggie finaly had the much prophesized "coming out party"

4. Played ugly enough most of the first half and at times in the second half that Payton will
definately be relentless in practice this week. ( Hopefully we got it out of our system
this week)

5. Won with the run and fantastic balanced use of Deuce and Reggie.

6. Came extremely close many times but did not turn the ball over. You could see every
every one protecting the ball after catches. The announcers talked about a drill that
they did this week where the backs had to carry a ball attached to a bungee cord and
the other backs would try to pull it from them. Both announcers said they had never
seen this before.

7. Solid D from start to finish. ( even Fred Thomas for the most part).

8. Finaly generated turnovers and consistent 3 and outs. If we get half as many 3 and
outs next week we win.

What I love about this offense is that it is almost a pick your poison. I just think people forget about #26 way too often.
