I feel like we are in a bit of a tough situation with kamara.

I believe he leads the league in touches, 218. Has 7 remaining games. On pace for career year in volume of both touches and production.

Just named Kaptain. We have an interim coach fighting for a job. We are playing essentially meaningless games pretending we can make a run to the fight for a playoff spot. Heck, lets pretend we have a 5% chance right now.

Regardless, the last thing we need is kamara to get banged up and head into an offseason with an injury or risk anything that jeopardizes his future here with us just giving him a sizable and meaningful extension.

Are you concerned with Kamara's usage or are you willing to just let it ride?

the last flip to this argument is he's on pace for 1931 total yards from scrimmage totals. He'd need to average 124 yds a game to hit 2000 yards from scrimmage. Deuce is the only Saint to have accomplished this. Shall we make an effort to go for this milestone?

I am definitely concerned and ready for Kendre Miller to be available again. Maybe Coach Rizz will make him "activate" twice to be sure he doesn't tweak his hamstring.

Either way, we definitely need to give work someone else into some of the AK plays. Maybe some bubble screens to MVS?

Was wondering yesterday if Hill is still not 100% and on a pitch count due to past injuries. Was looking for him in certain situations and was not on field. Like to see more two back sets with a rotation of the different backs.

I have a feeling that Ms. Benson is going to BIG changes this upcoming off season. Especially in the team's medical department. One thing that stand out to me from yesterday's game that they were the lack injuries from our team. Props to Coach Rizzi & his "activation period."

She has to she is wasting more $$ on players with jacked up hamstrings and other injuries between the Saints and Pelicans. They need to redo the medical staff from top to bottom that’s trainers, dietitians and doctors. Honestly, she should get specialized for each team and not just have it the same across the board. What is NFL shape is different from NBA shape. I am no doctor but that may be an issue right there. I get injuries happen heck the Cowboys have been having the same doctor with the cowboy hat for as long as I can remember and some years they do fine and some years they don’t but my guess is the Dallas mavericks don’t have Mr. cowboy hat trotting out on the court of Luka goes down with a hamstring.

ya he was used in first half then no touches in second. made no sense

Running Backs are cheap these days. Why we don't have a solid back up who can relieve AK is Loomis' fault.
We do. We have several of them.

Like every other position group on the field, it's riddled with injuries.

OP applying your logic to next year, we’re not going to be in a much better position cap/FA-wise so it’s unlikely we’ll challenge for a deep playoff run, so why save him for next year

plus Rizzi is auditioning for permanent HC, why would he want to shelve his best (maybe only) offensive weapon?

And variations in talent levels
No idea where some fans got the notion that NFL players are plug and play
We’ve tried to find AK a running mate ever since MI left the first time
?!

Each year you strategize to make playoffs and compete.

And rizzi’s best interest may not align with our organization’s best interest. It’s a dangerous situation.

We’ll have to be asking several players to take paycuts or adjust their salary in some way
Not sure that’s happening if players get signaled that the FO is playing Major League

Plus AK will be the most vocal if he feels the team is being shady with his playtime

Risks seem way bigger than the reward
