He has had poor QB play in KC last year, and might come cheap, I think he might not only return to his production with Eli, but better

I'm not sold on him. He had one solid season and because he replaced Shockey, he's been portrayed as something bigger than what he really is. Just my opinion.

Of the available TEs in FA, I'd love to see Brandon Myers in NO. I mean, Fred Davis, Chris Cooley, Ben Watson, Dallas Clark, and even Dave Thomas are still out there. I'd take all those guys before Kevin Boss.

I concur, and i don't know how much of a good blocker he is (which would be the #1 trait i'd want in a #2 TE personally)

Backup T/E is not a huge priority. It's also not something we should put a lot of resources towards. But Boss would be fine. Would prefer that Graham's backup be a good blocker and capable reciever. I think that's why Kellen Davis was in town. He's a guy that I think blocking before recieving. Someone along those lines would do. He would cost under $1M, and would only be about a $300K-$500K cap hit. Probably will address this in the draft with a 5th or 6th round pick.

Probably see Dave Thomas back before it's all said and done. Brandon Myers not even an average run blocking tight end. Would probably cost more than we're willing to pay. Boss could be a possibility.

I still think Brandon Myers would be a great option.

No one likes Dallas Clark? I think he still got some gas in the tank.
