Somehow Dong Phuong’s had shipping available in two weeks so I placed an order for a cream cheese one. $24 cake and $25 shipping. Lol

I did the same. 2 $20 cakes and paying $25 to ship each one. I think they'll be here Friday. I ordered a few weeks back.

I ordered on 12/18. They ship tomorrow and I should have them on Friday. That was the quickest I could get them shipped.

I just checked and they opened up a few dates for shipping. I just ordered an original and a cream cheese to see what all the hype is. Thanks man. BDM

Ok I just had a piece from Laurel St Bakery topped with almonds. I would describe it as more of a Dong Phong type (croissant or Danish). And I think it’s my new favorite.

me too. That’s the route my dad would bring us to school every morning and we would stop at that little store on Upperline across from the Winn Dixie.

yeah, that's the spot - it's been "nothing bundt cakes" for about 2 years

It wasn’t Zara’s then. The lake side was a gulf station and then a Time Saver, and the spot where Zara’s is now was another gas station. I think an Exxon but not sure.
