Last week was not a great week for the NFL or kwtpf. Not only were the Saints not playing, among the teams that did play there were few intriguing match ups.
The one game that looked to be interesting, Atlanta at SF, turned into a wrong way rout for kwtpf fans. It also created a couple questions, one of which gets answered this week. Is Atlanta really that good? We will get a clue to that answer as they host a respectable Bear team this week. Are the 49ers, the seemingly surprise team of the league, nothing more than an early season flash in the pan? For that we have to wait as the 49ers have a bye.
And what about the Saints? Are they really that good? Here is what the doubters might say. They beat a poor Detroit team starting a rookie qb. They beat a McNabbless eagles team starting a new qb. They beat a Buffalo team that was probably not as good as we thought. They beat a Jets team with a rookie qb that could have been over rated at the time. The Saints offense has not done much lately.
