Isn’t Bob Kraft one of the owners who tried to get Sean Payton fired?

I know two owners went to Benson, and there were some rumors it was Jerry Jones as the other, but I just don’t see it with Payton being so close with JJ.

Who else was rumored to be the other owner? Does anyone have knowledge of it?

Both were likely owners of NFC South teams. Falcons and Panthers. Wanted Sean Payton out of the division which is understandable. They tried to get the Buc's owner on board, but he decided against joining them since he figured his Bucs were going to continue to finish in 4th place every year regardless.

No, two owners wanted him fired. It’s widely believed Kraft was one of them.

Goodell wanted him fired. He contacted two owners to call Benson and ask for him to be fired.

They called Benson.

Benson called Sean.

Sean then went up to both owners at league meetings and “thanked them for their support”

The man went up to the two rat faced owners and thanked them for their support....THANKED THEM! That's a straight up assassin move! Payton never game up their names, but he def killed them. Our coach is a freaking, Don! Don Sean Payton for life!
