KU might have won in a blowout but their program is about to get hammered. Any lack of player discipline is unforgivable in this day and age. What was the point of even taunting the KState player at that point? Game over and scoreboard did the talking. Isnt there enough stupid senseless violence in the country.

Certainly a **** move - obviously not ‘illegal- but certainly something a lot of hyper competitive 19 yr olds would take umbrage to

I saw a tweet that Jayhawks players were 'taunting' when the guard was dribbling the time out. I don't see that in the video, just passing it on.

I don't think any of that matters though. Players might talk in game - players might be talking trash in an in-state rivalry, conference game. A player might even try to do something busch league like stealing the ball at the last second though down 30 points. An appropriately mature and coached D-1 scholarship athlete has to be able to function with those things happening without losing it and going full street brawl.

The game was OVER. So what if the dude stole the ball and shot a 3 pointer or made some other pointless gesture in a 20 point loss.
How does escalating and pointless or losing situation make you a winner?
