Eagles (4-5) at Saints (8-1) – Admit it… did any of you out there see us as having a four game lead over Philadelphia going into this game??? Honestly, at the start of the season I wouldn’t have believed for a moment that Wentz would not have the Eagles back on track for another big run in the playoffs. But clearly they now have their backs against the wall just trying make the postseason a reality for them. If the East wasn’t so average at this stage of the season, there may have been a ‘handwriting on the wall’ sort of attitude creeping in on Philly. But don’t believe for a moment that they won’t be viewing this game against the Saints as a potential turning point in their season and a return to the ranks of serious contenders in the NFC. What once seemed like it would be a defining game for us has become a very critical game for the reigning SuperBowl champs. If this turns out to be a mad, mad, mad, mad game this Sunday, pull for it to be the kind that is crazy good for Drew and insanely great for the Saints!
