Kyle Shanahan has called plays for two Super Bowl teams and has scored exactly 0 points in the 4th quarter

To only punt once in the game and only score 20 points... think about that for a minute.

When the Saints only punt once or not at all they hang 40 on defenses. I think they were caught up in the whole "let's keep the ball away from Mahomes" thing, and it worked for them for most of the game, but they never thought KC would score 21 points in 8 minutes.

You gotta score on those guys you can't try to play "keep away".
KC scored 21 points in 4 minutes

regardless the 3rd and 10 was an open WR for a TD just missed the throw.... maybe its not the Off Cord its the players...

Honey Badger said they were very happy to see SF go away from the run.

Now if that's not an indictment of your play calling, I don't know what is.

Before the opening kickoff I was listening to Troy Aikman and Joe Buck and they were talking about how in press conferences during the week leading up to the game Shanahan had expressed concerns about how many holding calls the Chiefs defense would get away with in the game. Aikman said he had mentioned it three or four times.

Are you kidding me?? Is he that big of a crybaby??

Yep.

Shanahan did what he could to keep it close. In the end Jimmy G had to make more plays than Mahomes An never had a chance! Mahomes is a beast and Jimmy G is a game manager. The 49ers would’ve needed the 2000 Baltimore defense to win.

Maybe Jimmy G had another date with a poon star? They say it weakens the legs.

I wouldn't know.

I always thought it would be bad if a team in a championship game had a blowout/easy win heading into their Super Bowl game. Teams become flat and don't do so well. I sort of predicted this after the NFC championship game.
