NEW ORLEANS — Baltimore Ravens rookies Dawan Landry and Ronnie Prude, both Louisiana natives, had family and friends come from near and far to watch them play in the Superdome on Sunday.
So the two youngsters rewarded their loyal followers with a total of three interceptions, two touchdowns and five passes defensed in the Ravens’ 35-22 victory over the New Orleans Saints.
Landry’s folks made the short drive down Highway 90 from his hometown of Ama, while Prude’s guests made a much longer trek from Shreveport — passing through Baton Rouge, just a couple of miles from where he played his college ball at LSU.
