Ronnie Ghent of the New Orleans Saints wants to give something back to Lakeland, and has invited eight of his NFL friends to help him this weekend. Ghent has organized the Ronnie Ghent Youth Achievement Camp, a three-day event that begins this afternoon at Lake Bonny Park.

"It's something I was interested in doing for a long time," said Ghent, who played in his first NFL games last season after spending three years on the Cincinnati Bengals' practice squad. He played mostly on special teams.

"I really didn't care what they had me do," the 28-year-old Lakeland High grad said. "Not everyone can say they played on Sundays. It took a lot of hard work to get there, and I know I'm going in fighting for the job again this year." Full Story – The Ledger
