Laptop to TV (1 Viewer)

I bought one of those Svideo cable cords and come to find out my laptop doesnt have that outlet, is there some other type of cord maybe i could use through the usb to connect?

Does your laptop have a blue or white connector on the backside of it?, if so, and it should, does your TV have one as well? Lots of LCD TVs do, but some dont, Anyway, if you od have a blue or white connector on the back, then you are in luck, as that TV can be used as a monitor.

Which laptop do you have?

um.. first off, what tv you have, which inputs it supports..
some will take the vga cable straight in, some will take composite, some hdmi, some dvi,.svideo
at any rate, no matter which it is, there is a solution.
which laptop is it, if it doesn't already support it, you can always get a usb or pcmcia card to do it.
pinnacle makes a few, there are some usb that pretty much whatever you have it will work. some support hdtv some don't.. need more details.
