For those who watched this documentary last year and, like me, were completely perplexed at the consistent presence of backup Bill Wennington and the almost wholesale absence of Luc Longley who was the starting center in each of the 96-98 championship years, our public broadcaster the ABC did a two-part 60 minute documentary recently on Longley and his career.

They interviewed all the key players: MJ, Pippen, Steve Kerr, Phil Jackson. It almost feels like an extra installment of the Last Dance. I’m not giving anything away, but at the end of the second part MJ basically concedes Longley should have been featured in the documentary.

It’s an excellent story. Longley comes across as a great guy. Very easy to watch and available here for free:
