I guess I'm not the only one who thinks that is an absolutely ridiculous looking logo. The sad part is, they probably payed some firm millions of dollars to come up with it.

The last shutout for the Falcons was a 38-0 loss to the Panthers; the last Panthers shutout was a 41-0 loss to the Falcons.

Minnesota was shutout on my bday, nice! Unfortunately that was the game the Saints lost to the 0-8 Rams. I was wasted and don't remember the 2nd half.

Actually it was at the end of the 2001 season because the last regular season game that year spilled over into January 2002.
It was the end of a 4 game slide where the team was obviously ready to start the offseason and they didn't show up to play at all, losing to the 49ers 38-0.

They told the marketing firm: "We want a logo that generally refers to L.A., the Rams, the Chargers, whatever."

It may surprise you that the 80-90s Saints had a streak second only to the 49ers of not getting shut out. It was not until Ditka/Wuerffel.
